What’s your favorite part of Mancos Days? The parade, horseshoe games, baseball games, kiddie parade, or live music? If you have been around  Mancos for a while, one of the best parts is connecting with friends.  My favorite part is meandering around downtown, and finding your spot in the shade for the parade and then heading to the park for fresh squeezed lemonade, Teriyaki kabobs, and browsing the vendors. High school reunions are going on as well as the Queen’s tea; don’t miss Jack and Jeanne Smith’s BBQ to honor Jeanne as the 2022 Mancos Day Queen!  Click here for more info on Mancos Days!

Christmas Season is in full swing!Christmas Season is in full swing!

Last weekend in Mancos was the Rudolph Run and then Saturday in Cortez was the Parade of Lights.  Everyone is happy with snow expected tonight!  8 inches!  Been super dry so we need it.  Shops are staying open longer and it is definitely the season to shop local.  The Chamber Christmas Party will be next Thursday the 16th at 5 to 7pm at Mancos Brewery.  Hope you will come as we will announce Citizen of the Year for Mancos, Business of the Year, and Cowboy of the Year.  We will be having live music, food and dancing!

While stuck at home….While stuck at home….

While we are in the midst of the Covid-19 shutdown, what are you doing?  I’ve been cleaning up the yard and yes it’s finally looking better.  Pruning the apple trees, just got done!    I’m having more sit down meal times with my teenagers and it’s wonderful  Tip of the day-  what you focus on expands.  Limit screen time and go out and enjoy the beautiful sunshine!  Have you seen our great sunsets?
